1. What Mendli needs
We collect the minimum information needed to create and secure your account, connect customers and workers, run jobs and messages, handle quotes, bookings, payments, invoices, support, disputes, reviews and safety controls.
Account dataName, email, role, area and account/security information.
Marketplace dataJobs, quotes, messages, photos, bookings, reviews and support records.
Financial recordsInvoices, payment records, refunds, credits and transaction statements where applicable.
Technical dataSecurity, authentication and diagnostic information needed to protect and run Mendli.
2. Why we use it
- To perform the Mendli service and your contract with us.
- To keep accounts secure, prevent misuse, handle disputes and support users.
- To meet legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.
- For optional marketing only where you have opted in or another lawful marketing rule clearly applies.
3. Who sees it
Relevant job information is shared with users who need it to complete the marketplace flow. Private contact details are not intended to be public and are revealed only where the job flow requires it. Service providers such as hosting, database/authentication and support technology providers process limited data for Mendli under contractual safeguards.
4. Your choices
- Marketing email is optional and can be turned off without stopping essential job or account emails.
- You can correct profile information in your account.
- You can request deletion of your account. Mendli erases or anonymises active profile data, while retaining only records that must or may lawfully be kept for accounting, legal claims, fraud/safety, dispute or regulatory reasons.
- You may exercise UK data-protection rights and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
